Description
The Smithsonian Institution is seeking qualified companies to provide facilities support for the monitoring of building automation systems (BAS) at the National Museum of the American Indian (NMAI), George Gustav Heye Center (GGHC), 1 Bowling Green, New York, NY 10004 and the Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum (CHNDM), 2 East 91st Street, New York, NY 10128. The selected offeror shall be required to provide monitoring services sixteen (16) hours per day, Monday through Friday and twenty-four (24) hours per day on weekends and holidays. Offerors will also be able to provide emergency staff that can be notified in case of an emergency in order to mitigate and reduce damage to facility collects. Emergency staff must be able to respond within two (2) hours of notice. Offerors must provide a full time project manager who is an employee of the company. The project manager shall be the contact point for all contract activities. The project manager must have a minimum of five (5) years experience in the following:Project Management; HVAC; Monitoring of the Siemens'Apogee BAS; Supervisory Experience; Estimating; and, a valid New York Building Engineers License. The full solicitation, request for proposals, will be released on or about September 9, 2016. Responses will be due within thirty (30) days of release. Electronic copies will be uploaded to this FEDBIZOPS' site. The Smithsonian Institution will accept proposals from all qualified offerors. The Smithsonian Institution's evaluation panel will be the sole entitty to determine as to whether an offeror is capable of meeting the requirements to carry out contract performance.
