- Description
- BHR-FM-BU100-6J, Maintenance and Minor Repair of Water Quality Devices. The contractor shall provide all services to perform inspection, maintenance and minor repair of all listed water quality measuring devices within Baumholder Military Community. Inspection, control measurement and calibration shall be performed for all magnetic inductive flow meters being installed within the water treatment plant at Hoppstädten, the water treatment plant at Pfeffelbach and within Baumholder. In total, there are twenty-six (26) magnetic flow meters with different dimensions. Furthermore, maintenance work shall be performed on twenty (20) different laboratory measuring devices within the Hoppstädten waterworks and on six (6) burst pipe detectors located at the Baumholder DPW, water distribution shop. The contractor shall perform inspection and maintenance of all listed measuring devices once a year. Within the scope of these maintenance work, minor repairs in order to correct deficiencies and/or defects that result from the impact of wear and tear to the system not to exceed 50.00 € per device for material and labor shall be included. Deficiencies identified, and which were not able to be remedied in the course of the maintenance process, shall be Repair work which is not part of the maintenance, exceeding 50.00 Є per device must be performed by a separate contract order. The Contractor shall prepare a cost estimate for the repair work and submit it to the COR, who will evaluate the estimate and either accept or reject the estimate. If accepted, the contractor will be provided a work authorization approved by the KO allowing him/her to perform the repair. Repair work not being part of the maintenance over and above 50.00 € per system is performed at the contractors own risk when not authorized by the KO. communicated to the Utilities Branch of DPW without delay. Required repairs which are not part of the maintenance can be approved by the KO up to a maximum yearly total amount of € 8,000.00. This amount that also includes material and labor costs, may not be exceeded. After completion of maintenance work, an activity report and calibration certificate shall be submitted to the DPW Utilities Branch.
