- This is a sources sought notice only; it is not a request for competitive proposals. This Sources Sought Notice is for informational purposes only to determine the interest and availability of potential qualified contractors. ALL INTERESTED FIRMS SHOULD RESPOND TO THIS NOTICE NO MATTER WHAT BUSINESS SIZE UNDER THE NAICS CODE. Responses are to be sent via email to Ramone.A.Pierce@usace.army.mil no later than 3:00 pm. EST, September 9, 2016. The Norfolk District, Corps of Engineers is conducting market research to identify potential sources for the following two (2) distinct projects which are anticipated to be procured separately: 1). Fort Campbell, Kentucky/Tennessee and Fort Knox, Kentucky 2). West Point, New York Facilities at these locations are as follows: Project #1 FORT CAMPBELL: Barkley Elementary School, Barsanti Elementary School, Fort Campbell High School, Jackson Elementary School, Lincoln Elementary School, Lucas Elementary School, Mahaffey Middle School, Marshall Elementary School, Wassom Middle School, and Fort Campbell Community Superintendent's Office. FORT KNOX: Kingsolver Elementary School, Crittenberger District Superintendent's Office, Knox High School, MacDonald Intermediate School, Pierce Elementary School Gym, Scott Middle School, Vocational Education Center, Dunan Maintenance Center, Bus Maintenance Barn, and Softball Concession Building. The Government anticipates awarding one contract for these locations to a source experienced in the following: - MECHANICAL SYSTEMS PREVENTIVE AND DEMAND MAINTENANCE - DIRECT DIGITAL CONTROL SYSTEMS MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS - PLUMBING SYSTEMS PREVENTIVE AND DEMAND MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR - ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS PREVENTIVE AND DEMAND MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR - KITCHEN EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR - ROOF SYSTEMS AND SITE INSPECTION PREVENTIVE AND DEMAND MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR - BUILDING SYSTEMS AND PLAYGROUNDS INSPECTION PREVENTIVE AND DEMAND MAINTENANCE AND REPAIRS - FIRE ALARM & SUPPRESSION SYSTEM INSPECTION, PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE, DEMAND MAINTERNACE AND REPAIR - PLAYGROUND INSPECTION, PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE, DEMAND MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR The proposed contract will consist of a one year base period with four option one year periods. The annual dollar range for this work is $1,000,000.00 to $2,000,000.00. The guaranteed minimum will be met by the award of the first task order. The NAICS code applicable to this requirement is 238220. Offerors will be evaluated on both technical quality and conformance to the solicitation and price. The Government reserves the right to reject any or all proposal prior to award; to negotiate with any or all proposers; to award the contract to other than the lowest total price and to award to the proposer submitting the proposal determined by the Government to be the most advantageous to the Government. OFFERORS ARE ADVISED ANY AWARD MAY BE MADE WITHOUT DISCUSSION OR ANY CONTACT CONCERNING THE PROPOSAL RECEIVED. Project #2 The Government is soliciting sources for an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for the Department of Defense Education Activity - Americas (DoDEA-Americas) to obtain preventive maintenance, on demand repair work, and incidental construction for plumbing, electrical, heating, ventilation and air conditioning, control systems, fire protection, playgrounds, kitchen equipment, building systems, and roofing. These services will be provided for facilities located at West Point, New York. Facilities at these locations are as follows: WEST POINT: West Point Elementary School, West Point Middle School, West Point Gym. The Government anticipates awarding one contract for these locations to a source experienced in the following: - MECHANICAL SYSTEMS PREVENTIVE AND DEMAND MAINTENANCE - DIRECT DIGITAL CONTROL SYSTEMS MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS - PLUMBING SYSTEMS PREVENTIVE AND DEMAND MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR - ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS PREVENTIVE AND DEMAND MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR - KITCHEN EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR - ROOF SYSTEMS AND SITE INSPECTION PREVENTIVE AND DEMAND MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR - BUILDING SYSTEMS AND PLAYGROUNDS INSPECTION PREVENTIVE AND DEMAND MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR - FIRE ALARM & SUPPRESSION SYSTEM INSPECTION, PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE, DEMAND MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR - PLAYGROUND INSPECTION, PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE, DEMAND MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR The proposed contract will consist of a six month base period with four option one year periods. The annual dollar range for this work is $500,000.00 to $1,000,000.00. The guaranteed minimum will be met by the award of the first task order. The NAICS code applicable to this requirement is 238220. Offerors will be evaluated on both technical quality and conformance to the solicitation and price. The Government reserves the right to reject any or all proposal prior to award; to negotiate with any or all proposers; to award the contract to other than the lowest total price and to award to the proposer submitting the proposal determined by the Government to be the most advantageous to the Government. Each project will be an independent competitive procurement. It is anticipated that the Government will issue a firm fixed price contract for each scope of work, respectively.
