Description

NOTICE TO ALL INTERESTED PARTIES This is the Solicitation Notice for the Presolicitation Synopsis posted on August 25, 2016. Naval Ordnance Test Unit (NOTU) has a requirement to provide harbor piloting support services for approximately 90 movements a year. The Contractor shall provide all the necessary personnel, supervision, management, equipment, materials and services required to provide piloting services for NOTU at Port Canaveral Harbor, Cape Canaveral, Florida. The requirement is solicited as a competitive total Small Business Set-aside and will be accomplished under the authority of FAR Subpart 13.5-Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items. The Government intends to award on initial offers but reserves the right to conduct discussions. Award of a single award Firm Fixed-Price Indefinite Delivery-Indefinite Quantity Contract is anticipated. The solicitation is available for download through the Government Point of Entry Federal Business Opportunities (FEDBIZOPPS) at https://www.fbo.gov and Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) at www.neco.navy.mil. Quotes are due on 6 September 2016, 4:00 PM EST. ONLY email requests for clarification to the Contracting Officer are acceptable. No phone call communications or personal office visits with FLCJAX or its internal or external customers regarding issues or questions pertaining to this procurement will be accepted for the duration of the solicitation, evaluation and award process.
