Description
PWS Wenger Virtual Acoustical Environment Upgrade THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT FOR INFORMATION ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL OR QUOTES. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. REQUEST FOR A SOLICITATION WILL NOT RECEIVE A RESPONSE. This Sources Sought Synopsis is in support of Market Research being conducted by the Marine Corps to identify potential PROVIDERS for an Virtual Acoustic Environment (VAE) upgrade to the existing Wenger sound modules at MARFORPAC Pacific Band practice facilities aboard Camp H.M. Smith, Hawaii., and if this effort can be competitive or a Small Business Set-Aside. The proposed North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 334310 which have a corresponding Size Standard of 750 employees. The Government will use this information to determine the best acquisition strategy for this procurement. The Government is interested in all businesses to include 8(a), small business and small disadvantaged business, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, Hubzone, and Women-Owned small business concerns. The government requests that interested parties respond to this notice if applicable and identify your small business status to the identified NAICS code. Additionally, please provide any anticipated teaming arrangements, along with a description of similar services offered to the Government and to commercial customers for the past three years. Any responses involving teaming agreements should delineate between the work that will be accomplished by the prime and the work accomplished by the teaming partners. Maine Corps Base Hawaii (MCBH), Kaneohe HI, is seeking sources for contractor to provide all labor, material, equipment, transportation, supervision and engineering service necessary to delivery, and install, a Virtual Acoustic Environment (VAE) upgrade to the existing Wenger sound modules at MARFORPAC Pacific Band practice facilities aboard Camp H.M. Smith, Hawaii. See the attached Performance Work Statement. The period of performance is from 26 September 2016 through 30 September 2016. VENDORS / MANUFACTURERS OF THE VAE EQUIPMENT WITH A VALUE OF OVER $5,000.00 MUST COMPLY WITH DFARS 252.211-7003 ITEM UNIQUE IDENTIFICATION AND VALUATION BY ENSURING A UID TAG IS AFFIXED TO THE EQUIPMENT. The contractor shall be capable of furnishing all requirements established per the PWS, at prices established at the time of a contract award. All contractors must be registered in the Systems for Award Management database to be eligible for a Department of Defense contract award. Responses should include the following: 1. A positive statement of your intention to submit a bid for this solicitation; 2. Company CAGE code and DUNS number as identified in your SAM registration; 3. Information on your VAE system to be supplied via the attached PWS; 4. Warranty information; 5. Delivery and installation; 6. Information that the VAE equipment with a value of over $5,000.00 complies with DFARS 252.211-7003 Item Unique Identification and Valuation and that a UID Tag will be Affixed to the equipment Companies interested should provide the above documentation by email (preferred) or fax to the Primary Point of Contact listed below. All of the above must be submitted in sufficient detail for a decision to be made on the availability of interested concerns. Responses shall be limited to 10 pages.
