- SF30 FA9401-16-T-0027-0001 Spectrometer Solicitation Amendment FA9401-16-T-0027-0001 Conformed Document Spectrometer Solicitation Amendment The purpose of this amendment is to include more detailed specifications for the Spectrometer, which is Brand Name or Equal to the Bruker Optics Spectrometer referenced in the specifications below, as well as in the attached SF30 FA9401-16-T-0027-0001. Quotations are due NLT 09 September 2016 at 4:00PM MST. This will remain a small business set aside. The specifications can be found attached in the SF30 FA9401-16-T-0027-0001 Block 14 Continuation Page, as well as below: Item 1) p/n V70: VERTEX 70 Fourier Transform Infrared Spectrometer : All optics are gold coated for highest optical throughput. The standard spectral range covers 8,000 to 350cm-1. The following components are included and are required for operation: - MIR-KBr beamsplitter (T303/3) - Room temperature DLaTGS detector (D301/B) - High power IR source - Aperture wheel with 12 positions - Validation wheel with 6 positions - OPUS/IR software package Spectral range extension packages are available to extend the measurement region from the far- to the near-IR and the visible regions (28,000-15cm-1). Standard resolution is 0.4cm-1 with an option for 0.16cm-1. A scan rate of more than 15 spectra/sec at 8cm-1 is standard and can be upgraded to higher rates of 58 spectra/sec at 16cm-1. Required PC based data system for operation. Item 2) p/n W240/BD: Spectral Range Extension: Wide band spectral range extension VERTEX FM for mid-IR and far-IR spectral regions. Covers spectral range from 6.000-80cm-1, extended up to 9,300cm-1 in connection with Tungsten source (Q428/7), suitable for spectral resolution up to 0.4cm-1, reduced signal to noise ratio at 610cm-1. Including: - T240/3 Wide-range beamsplitter instead of standard KBr beamsplitter (T303/3) - D201/BD Wide-range DLATGS detector instead of standard DLaTGS (D301/B) - W160/Z Automatic shutters - S316/7 Air flow regulator Item 3) p/n Q428/7, NIR Light Source: NIR source with QuickSwitch mount, 12V, MTTF (average lifetime under continuous operation): >9,000 hours Item 4) p/n W121/Z-S Changer for second internal source including focussing optics Item 5) p/n S239/Z: Beamsplitter interchange capability: Provision for manually interchanging a beamsplitter. Must be specified at the time of manufacture. Item 6) p/n T401/3 NIR CaF2 beamsplitter Spectral range: 15,000-1,200cm-1. Item 7) p/n A510/Q-T Reflection/Transmission accessory: Angle of incidence 11° for spectrometers with QuickLock mount. Includes 13mm Ø sample, A510-H sample mount and A510-M Reference mirror. Enables automatic switching between Reflectance and Transmittance mode at the same sample position and can be used with cryostats. Item 8) p/n A562-G/Q Diffuse Reflectance / Integrating Sphere Integrating sphere, gold coated for use inside sample compartment, spectral range 14,000 - 400 cm-1. Requires detector from following list: - D316200B MCT or D301250B DLaTGS detector or - D313/B, D316/B or D413/B standard size detector (reduced specifications) Item 9) p/n O/IR, OPUS Spectroscopy Software Package Integrated spectroscopy software for laboratory and process control. Validated software which supports the validation of the spectrometer Package includes: - Configurable user interface and access to executable functions - Automatic consistency-test of measurement parameters - Multi Tasking: Measurement and data manipulation/evaluation at the same time - Automated atmospheric correction for water vapor and CO2 in MIR without the need for reference spectra - Single and repeated measurements, auto sampler support - Many interactive functions for comfortable data processing and evaluation, e.g. - Normalization, calculate derivative and average spectra, spectra subtraction - Spectrum calculator - Curve fit - Peak Pick - Spectra interpretation tool - Quick Compare spectra - Search spectra in a library, create your own libraries - Free starter library - Analyze peak areas and heights, quantitative analysis (Lambert-Beer's Law) - Automated multi step evaluation of spectra (MultiEvaluation) - Predefined print layouts, customizable print layouts - Conversion of files to different file formats (eg JCAMP) - Easy data export to other programs - Automated OQ and PQ testing - Permanent instrument status indicator, online monitoring of system performance Compliant to cGMP/GLP: - Multi level user management, log-in with user name and password - Audit trail (history log function) - All data, incl. manipulation and evaluation results, stored in ONE file - Electronic signature of spectra and methods Supports user during daily routine work: - Run, create and edit macros and VB scripts - Automated execution of repeated actions via calendar - Lab journal functionality - Online help - Multimedia FT-IR tutorial Item 10) p/n O/SR-NP: OPUS/SEARCH package, for Software Package for comprehensive search functionality in spectra libraries. Completes the basic Search functions in OPUS with: - Mixture analysis: Identifies and quantifies single components in mixture spectra. To visualize the quality of the match a composite spectrum from the library component spectra and the difference spectrum between composite and query spectrum are calculated. - Peak search: Search of user defined peak tables. Includes intuitive set-up of peak tables by interactive peak pick on one or several reference spectra. - Information search: Powerful and intuitive search of terms and numbers in the complete information matrix of one or several spectral libraries.
