Description

James E. Van Zandt VA Medical Center intends to award firm-fixed price sole source procurement to Xenex Disinfection Services LLC for the Pulsed Xenon UV Disinfection System and Maintenance at the James E. Van Zandt VA Medical Center, in Altoona, PA. This is a one-time equipment buy, in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 - Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. If a firm believes SDVOSB can provide non-mercury Disinfection System that will meet the requirements, it must furnish information about its products and services, as well as references from other customers who are using these products and service, by 5:00PM (EST) September 1, 2016. Information must be sent to Debra Willard, Contracting Officer, debra.willard@va.gov Email. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation documents are available and telephone requests will not be accepted. If no responses are received, the James E. Van Zandt VA Medical Center will proceed with the sole source negotiation with Xenex Disinfection Services LLC. See attached document: Limited Sources Justification.
