- Instructions to Vendor, please read carefully and understand the terms and condition. Self Calculating excel sheet The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution Otisville NY, intends to issue solicitation RFQ1STQTR17BREAD for the acquisition of fresh bread products. The estimated quarterly quantities are 9,000 loaves wheat bread, 35000 ind hot dog buns, 60,000 ind hamburger buns. This shall be a requirements type contract with firm fixed pricing for the period of October 1, 2016 to December 31, 2016. Deliveries will be made to the Federal Correctional Institution Otisville, Two Mile Drive Otisville, NY 10963 once a week. The Government intends to make a single award to the responsible Vendor whose Quote, conforming to the solicitation, is considered to be the most advantageous to the Government, and with past performance and price considered. Past performance will be considered approximately equal in value to price. Past Performance (poor past performance, failure to deliver awarded items in the past, not meeting required specifications, etc.), may result with the vendors quotes being considered and deemed as a non-responsible vendor. The solicitation will be made available on or about August 23, 2016 and will be posted to the General Services Administration Federal Business Opportunities website: http:/www.fbo.gov. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure they have the most up to date information about this solicitation. Faith based and community based organizations can submit offers/ quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. The anticipated date of receipt of quotes is September 20, 2016 by 11:00am EST. Payment will be made using the Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT) or purchase card. Each Vendor is required to be registered in www.SAM.gov complete with representations and certifications. Complete offers will only be accepted via email as the Bureau intends to move to completely paperless procurements and the quote sheets are self-calculating..
