- Attachment The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential sources for this project including interested Small Business sources. This notice is for planning purposes only. All interested parties should respond. 106th Rescue Wing of the New York Air National Guard, F.S. Gabreski Air National Guard Base may issue a solicitation and award of a contract for the purchase, delivery and installation of one GSA approved Weapons Vault. The vault must meet the federal specifications of GSA's AA-V-2737 modular vault system as directed by DOD 5100.76-m. and Air Force Instruction 31-101. The modular vault system shall be installed complete to include a split unit climate control system, fire suppression and detection systems and a complete power system. The modular vault system shall be surface mounted to the slab. The modular vault system shall include (1) one GSA class-5 vault door. The door shall include an issue port day gate. The split unit climate control system shall include all controls and finishing's. The power system shall be brought from an existing location and will include all finishing's for switched lighting and 120 volt receptacles as well as providing lamped T8 light fixtures. Additional accesses will be left for security and communications. The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and incidentals required to produce and deliver the weapons vault. The 106th Rescue Wing is soliciting this requirement under the authority provided by 10 USC 2922(a). All interested concerns will provide this office, in writing, a notice stating their positive intention to submit a proposal as a prime contractor no later than 31 August 2016. This notification, which shall not exceed five typewritten pages, must include a (1) positive statement of intent to bid as a prime contractor, and (2) a completed and signed Source Sought Information Request Form (see Attachment A) and (3) A listing of projects completed during the past three years, both for government and private industry. The type of project, dollar value, Contract number, location, and Point of Contact are to be included. Indicate if you were prime or subcontractor, and if subcontractor, provide the name and point of contact for the prime contractor. (4) A brief outline of resources, subcontractors, and key personnel that would be used to accomplish the contract. In the event adequate Small Business contractors are not available for adequate competition for this project, it may be advertised as unrestricted.
