Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the information in Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Subpart 12 - Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Subpart 13 - Simplified Acquisition Procedures, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. Paper copies of this solicitation will not be available. The RFQ number is VA261-16-Q-1065. This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2005-89. The NAICS code is 624190 and the small business size standard is $11M. This is an unrestricted procurement. The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), VA Northern California Health Care System (VANCHCS), is seeking a contractor to assist with housing placement services to VA referred Veterans and their families in Oakland and Martinez, CA through the HUD-VASH program. HUD-VASH is designed to serve homeless Veterans and their families. Through this contract, the VA seeks to support HUD-VASH by expediting placement of Veterans and their families in affordable, permanent housing. This housing must meet the criteria for inclusion in HUD's Section 8 voucher program. Any questions regarding this solicitation must be made in writing and submitted no later than August 30, 2016, 12:00 pm HST. Quotes are due September 1, 2016, 12:00 pm, Hawaii Standard Time (HST). Please submit quotes to Beverly.Quevedo@va.gov. It is the contractor's responsibility to confirm receipt of quotes. Each response must clearly indicate the capability of the offeror to meet all specifications and requirements.
