Description

Amendment 0002, changing the period of performance and extending solicitation due date. AMENDMENT: This solicitation is extended to 30 August 2016 due to a required change in the government's period of performance. This solicitation is hereby amended to change the period of performance from 27 August 2016 through 28 August 2016 to 10 September 2016 through 11 September 2016. Please see the attached SF 30, FA4417-16-T-0058-0002. This change in period of performance is to account for the ten (10) day notice period required under Title 40, Code of Federal Regulations, Part 61 (40CFR61), Subpart M for "Asbestos Containing Floor Tile". Upon receipt of award and IAW the attached Statement of Work, the contractor is required to notify the Florida Department of Environmental Protection of asbestos work to be performed in building 90337 ten (10) days before starting any work. As a result of this requirement, the solicitation is amended to account for the ten (10) day period stated above. NOTE: Any interested contractors may provide a quote to the government by the new due date of 30 August 2016 at 1200 CST. Contractors who have already provided quotes may adjust their quotes (if required) in order to account for the change in the period of performance.
