Description

The Government intends to award a sole-source contract to Tagarno USA, LLC for the item/service specified below provided by the technical points of contact and included in the contract file, in support of the Engineering Directorate (ED) of the U.S Army Aviation and Missile Research, Development, and Engineering Center (AMRDEC), Redstone Arsenal, AL 35898. This requirement is to acquire one (1) MAGNUS HD UNO Magnification System with the following features: Built in camera with autofocus, Snapshot function with advanced camera settings, Live imaging, Extremely sharp HD image, Monitor for multi-viewer purposes, Split screen function for recording part numbers while inspecting component under camera, SD card storage capability, Adjustable frame to change camera height so entire circuit board can be captured in picture, ESD Security, and Control Box. The Tagarno's MAGNUS HD UNO is the only digital magnification system that provides the functions required above. This is the only system that has an adjustable frame that allows large circuit boards to be captured in a single digital image. The Tagarno system also offers a split screen function, which is crucial when recording part numbers to ensure no mistakes are made when capturing exact component markings. Performing a physical product audit can be a timely task, so having a system that speeds up this process is imperative to reduce obsolescence issues thus reducing impact to the warfighter. Authority cited: FAR 6.302-1(c) Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Required lead time - 30 Days after award of contract.
