Description

The Defense Logistics Agency Maritime Puget Sound is issuing this sources sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support a requirement for one (1) EA MATERIALS TESTING SYSTEM, INSTRON MODEL: 5985, CAPACITY: 250 KN, 250 KN LOAD CELL, 5KN LOAD CELL, FLOOR MODEL ADAPTER KIT, DEBRIS SHIELD, INSTRUMENT CONTROLLER, COMPRESSION PLATEN, FASTENER FIXTURE KIT, AUTOX EXTENSOMETER. INCLUDES INSTALLATION AND TRAINING. MFG: INSTRON (OR EQUAL). The Government intends to purchase on an unrestricted, brand name or equal basis through a FFP contract vehicle IAW FAR subpart 13.5. The result of this market research will contribute to challenging or confirming the intended method of procurement. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 334519. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AT THIS TIME.
