Description

Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Health Administration Sources Sought Notice - Commercial Appliance Repair - Dishwasher This is a Sources Sought notice and not a request for quotes. This request is solely for the purpose of conducting market research to enhance VHA's understanding of your company's offered services and capabilities. The Government will not pay any costs for responses submitted in response to this Sources Sought. This Sources Sought notice provides an opportunity for respondents to submit their notice of ability, and their available products in response to the requirement described below. Vendors are being invited to submit information relative to their potential of fulfilling the requirement below, in the form of a capability response that addresses the specific requirement identified in this Sources Sought. The Veterans Health Administration (VHA) is seeking a vendor to provide maintenance and repair of a commercial grade dishwasher (Champion Dish Machine, Model #CC-86PW-R) appliance. Refer to the General Requirements section below for the requested service description. This Sources Sought is to facilitate the Contracting Officer's review of the market base, for acquisition planning, size determination, and procurement strategy. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS The contractor must provide the following services: Statement of Work Champion Dish Machine Model # CC-86PW-R Contractor will perform all service calls, parts, labor all-inclusive at the Bedford VA Medical Center, located in building 3 kitchen, 200 Springs Road Bedford, Massachusetts. 01730. Contractor will perform quarterly maintenance on the Champion Dish Machine Unit and schedule with the COR and shall provide sufficient notice. Contractor will respond to calls for Champion Dish Machine breakdowns for repairs within 24 hours of the call during normal working hours of 6am to 8pm EST. Contractor will ensure units are shut down and have been locked and tagged out by VA staff prior to and completion of work performed. The COR will ensure that area to be worked in around the dish room is clear of VA Staff prior to work being done. This contract will include all parts and labor for the Champion Dishmachine Model CC-86PW-R and connections to outlets, vents, water lines. Contractor will supply their own tools and equipment to perform repairs and all maintenance checks. Upon Completion of any work or repair done on the Champion Dishmachine Unit, the contractor and engineering staff or COR will do an inspection of work or maintenance completed. There shall be no changes to this Statement of Work without prior approval of the contracting officer. Eligibility in participating in a future acquisition does not depend upon a response to this notice. C.Proprietary information is neither requested nor desired. If such information is submitted, it must clearly be marked "proprietary" on every sheet containing such information, and the proprietary information must be segregated to the maximum extent practicable from other portions of the response (e.g., use an attachment or exhibit). Notes: 1. This Sources Sought is for planning purposes only, and does not constitute a commitment, implied or otherwise, that a procurement action will follow.
