- Statement of Work Overview The Colorado Army National Guard has a requirement for industrial laundry services for red rags, coverall cleaning and paper towel recycling. 1. Purpose Red Rag and Coverall Cleaning Contract for the G4 in support of maintenance operations. Cleaning red rags and coveralls is required by Health Code 29CFR 1910-156, OSHA and environmental restrictions. Cleaning red rags and coveralls once a week to every other week. The departments and dates are below: • Combined Support Maintenance Shop (CSMS) - Every Thursday, 1200-1400 • Field Maintenance Shop 2 (FMS 2) - Every Other Week, Thursdays, 1000-1200 • Field Maintenance Shop 7 (FMS 7) - Every Other Week, Thursday, 0800-1000 • Field Maintenance Shop 9 (FMS 9) - Every Other Thursday, 1400-1600 2. Scope of Work Description of Duties of Red Rag and Coverall Cleaning Contract Red Rags: • Contractor shall furnish all red rags • Contractor shall pick-up, clean all oil out of fabric, deliver and account for red rags • Contractor shall furnish clean red rag bins • Contractor shall furnish dirty red rag bins • Contractor shall furnish labor, equipment, supervision and transportation for pickup and delivery services • The total number of red rags to be provided and cleaned will not exceed 57,200 red rags annually • CSMS: 31,200 red rags provided and cleaned annually • FMS 2: 15,600 red rags provided and cleaned annually • FMS 7: 2,600 red rags provided and cleaned annually • FMS 9: 7,800 red rags provided and cleaned annually   Coveralls: • Contractor shall pick-up, clean all oil out of fabric, deliver and account for coveralls • Contractor shall furnish bag stand for coveralls • Contractor shall maintain a system of records to control and account for all coveralls, specifically counting the number of coveralls when picking-up and again when dropping-off. If coveralls are lost, Contractor will reimburse Mechanic for coveralls. • The total number of coveralls cleaned will not exceed 1,976 coveralls rags annually. • CSMS: 728 cleaned annually • FMS 2: 416 cleaned annually • FMS 7: 312 cleaned annually • FMS 9: 520 cleaned annually Single Service Towel Cabinet that reduces waste: • Contractor shall pick-up used paper towels, deliver and replace used paper towels with clean paper towels • Contractor shall furnish the Single Service Towel Cabinet that reduces overall waste of maintenance shop, agrees to mount the Single Service Towel Cabinet on a predetermined and agreed upon wall • The total number of paper towel rolls provided will not exceed 884 annually • CSMS: 520 paper towels rolls provided annually • FMS 2: 156 paper towels rolls provided annually • FMS 7: 104 paper towels rolls provided annually • FMS 9: 104 paper towels rolls provided annually 3. Background and Objective Objective is to be able to pick-up, clean all oil out of fabric, deliver and account for red rags and coveralls on the agreed upon schedule with personnel that meet the bellow specifications: • Skills Evaluation • Drug Screening • Criminal Background Check • Verification of Prior Work History • Quality Checks • Worker's Compensation Insurance • EEO/ADA Liability Protection 4. Specifications: Contractor is required to: Perform all duties listed. Be flexible on weeks we do not work to include Mondays, cancellation of work due to inclement weather and designated Federal Holiday's. 5. Project Summary Pick-up, clean all oil out of fabric, deliver and account for red rags and coveralls, pick-up used paper towels, deliver and replace used paper towels with clean paper towels on the agreed upon schedule as described in the scope of work on the days needed. 7. Additional Information and Requirements The Single Service Towel Cabinet reduces waste and allows for better cleanliness, hygiene and overall health 8. Schedule A. Hours of Work • CSMS - Every Thursday, 1200-1400 • Field Maintenance Shop 2 (FMS 2) - Every Other Week, Thursdays, 1000-1200 • Field Maintenance Shop 7 (FMS 7) - Every Other Week, Thursday, 0800-1000 • Field Maintenance Shop 9 (FMS 9) - Every Other Thursday, 1400-1600   B. Duration of Task • One year plus (four) one year option years.
