Description
PURCHASE ABOVE GROUND FUEL STORAGE TANKS Specifications for AST Fuel Tanks/Management Systems Objective: Gavins Point Project is looking to procure two fuel tanks that are a turn-key assembled package. The tanks shall be ready to install on a level concrete pad and connect to a Government-supplied 115 volt power source at a junction box. Tanks shall be of equal diameter to present a uniform appearance and have the fuel management system and dispensers mounted on the tank shelf. Tanks shall meet specifications listed below and come with the manufacturer's standard warranty. The price shall include delivery to Gavins Point Project, US Army Corps of Engineers, 55245 Highway 121, Crofton, NE 68730. Three sets of operating manuals for all components shall be provided. Tanks/fueling components shall be submitted for Government approval prior to delivery. Tank 1 for Bio-Diesel Fuel -1,000 gallon capacity on skids -no more than 75" diameter, -no more than 10' long -all steel connections -bio-diesel compatible components -UL 2085 listed steel inner and steel outer tank -tank must meet NFPA 30 and 30A -must meet Steel Tank Institute Standard F941 -Shelf mounted on tank to mount fuel management system -5 gallon lockable spill container with drain for fill tube -overfill prevention valve -low profile dust cap -8 oz emergency vent (secondary) for 6" opening -8 oz emergency vent (primary) for 6" opening -2" updraft vent cap with vent pipe -liquid level tank gauge -leak gauge -115v pump with minimum of 15 gpm with filter system (spin on), 20' hose, swivel, automatic diesel shut off nozzle, suction pipe, whip hose and breakaway system (all items UL Listed as appropriate) mounted on tank -fuel hose shall have a hose hanger or retractable leash, or both -fuel management system with minimum of 40 user keys with console, pulser, software to download to a computer via wireless or USB adapter, a manager key; mounted onto the tank -Turn key -preassembled with everything ready for tank to be set on concrete pad and power ran to an outdoor rated water tight junction box -delivered to US Army Corps of Engineers 55245 Highway 121 Crofton, NE 68730 Tank 2 for Unleaded Gasoline (up to 10% ethanol) -2,000 gallon capacity on skids -no more than 75" diameter -no more than 13' long -all steel connections -10% ethanol compatible components -UL 2085 listed steel inner and outer tank -tank must meet NFPA 30 and 30A -must meet Steel Tank Institute Standard F941 -Shelf mounted to tank to mount fuel management system -5 gallon lockable spill container with drain for fill tube -overfill prevention valve -low profile dust cap -8 oz emergency vent (secondary) -16 oz emergency vent (primary) -2" pressure vent cap with vent pipe -liquid level tank gauge -leak gauge -115v pump with minimum of 10 gpm with filter system (spin on), 20' hose, swivel, automatic shut off nozzle, suction pipe, whip hose and breakaway system (all items UL Listed as appropriate) mounted on tank -fuel hose shall have a hose hanger or retractable leash, or both -fuel management system with minimum of 40 user keys with console, pulser, software to download to a computer via wireless or USB adapter, a manager key; mounted onto the tank -Turn key -preassembled with everything ready for tank to be set on concrete pad and power ran to an outdoor rated water tight junction box -delivered to US Army Corps of Engineers 55245 Highway 121 Crofton, NE 68730 Point of Contact Technical questions on the work should be directed to Justin Scholl at 402-667-2561 or Curtis Bisgard at 402-667-2565.
