Request for Quotation details including: THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS PREPARED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FORMAT IN FAR SUBPART 12.6-STREAMLINED PROCEDURES FOR EVALUATION AND SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS-AS SUPPLEMENTED WITH ADDITIONAL INFORMATION INCLUDED IN THIS NOTICE. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; QUOTATIONS ARE BEING REQUESTED, AND A SEPARATE WRITTEN SOLICITATION DOCUMENT WILL NOT BE ISSUED. THE SOLICITATION IS BEING ISSUED USING SIMPLIFIED ACQUISITION PROCEDURES UNDER THE AUTHORITY OF FAR 13. The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) is issuing a Request for Quotations (RFQ) for Date of Birth, Gender and Five Digit Zip Code data for a large geographical and population area of the United States. The database needs to contain variations that are representative of the entire United States. Thus, it should include metropolitan areas, suburban areas, rural areas, deserts, forests, coastline, valleys, and mountains. The associated NAICS code for this requirement is 518210 - Data Processing, Hosting, and Related Services with a small business size standard of $32.5 million. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-90. This acquisition is 100% set aside for small business.
