Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation No. L16PS01330 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation documents, incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-90. This is a total small business set-aside under NAICS 561720, Janitorial Services (size standard of 18.0 millions of dollars). The BLM Carlsbad Field Office has a requirement in soliciting quotation on a competitive basis from qualified vendors to enter into a firm fixed price contract for janitorial services. Services shall be in accordance with attachments available at https://www.fedconnect.net/FedConnect/ Janitorial services for the maintenance of five recreation sites within the Carlsbad Field Office of the Pecos District in southeast New Mexico. The scheduled maintenance responsibilities shall include basic site maintenance to include: restroom maintenance; the cutting of unwanted plants (weeds and grasses) to 4 inches within an area of 10 feet from recreation facilities; and site clean-up for litter and other debris. Other minor maintenance to select facilities located within the identified recreation sites may be requested depending upon vandalism or natural events. The Government intends to award the contract to a responsible party whose proposal is responsive to the solicitation process for a recreation janitorial service within the Carlsbad Field Office and provides ¿Best Value to the Government ¿ on a Lowest Priced Technically Acceptable (LPTA) basis.
