Description

J&A document This SSJ is being posted in compliance with FAR 13.501(a), within 30 days after awarding a contract under the simplified acquisition threshold supported by a sole source justification. On July 7, 2016, The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Center for Surveillance, Epidemiology, and Laboratory Services (CSELS), Office of Public Health Scientific Services (OPHSS), issued a purchase order to Social & Scientific Systems, Inc., under 200-2016-M-90556. This purchase order was issued under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 1901(e)(2), as implemented by FAR 13.106-1(b) and FAR 13.501(a), only one source is capable of providing the supplies or services required at the level of quality required because the supplies or services are unique or highly specialized for the justification. The justification document is provided in the attached package.
