Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 6, on behalf of the Hampton VA Medical Center, 100 Emancipation Dr, Hampton, VA. The contractor is to perform a site survey of the VA Medical Center, Hampton. The contractor shall maintain current equipment to include all labor, tools, equipment, supplies, materials, expertise and supervision necessary to maintain a High Definition and/or Standard Definition Digital Satellite Television reception package to the VA Medical Center, Hampton as outlined below. Channel requirements The contractor will maintain the current Direct TV Choice Package throughout the facility. The contract is for an all-inclusive turnkey job to provide High Definition and/or Standard Definition Digital Satellite Television for approximately 300 outlets throughout the medical center. The television network package will have a capability of at least 90 plus channels with space to expand. The package is to include all local channels and at a minimum the channels listed below in 1.1b and any available sports channels. The contractor is to maintain connections for the four (4) VA information channels that are currently in-place, which feed throughout the facility. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 515210 Size Standard: $38.5 million, and the Classification code is D304. THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This notice does NOT constitute a request for proposal, request for quote, or invitation for bid. No formal solicitation document exists at this time. The Government will not pay for any information solicited. Interested parties should submit with their response a capabilities statement with the following information: 1.Company name and DUN # 2.POC information 3.Business size and socio-economic classification (for example SDVOSB, Woman-owned) 4.Is this item available on FSS Schedule (GSA)?
