Description

The VA NCO 10 Contracting Office, Marion, IN, in accordance with FAR 13.106(b)(2) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Bioquant Image Scanning Corp., Nashville, TN for furnishing and maintaining a microscope stage unit & digital camera capable of delivering 1000 megapixel resolution, automatic slide scanning and live digital imaging with proprietary software, Bioquant Scan and Osteo in accordance with the terms and conditions of the contract/consignment agreement. NAICS 334516 applies and the small business size standard is 1000 employees. The contractor shall deliver to the Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center, 1481 West 10th Street, Indianapolis, IN 46202 for the period of, 8/30/2016 for one year, with four (4), one (1) year option periods. The hardware and software will be delivered and installed in during the base year of the contract. Contractor shall provide technical service support for the hardware and software during the base year and option years. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. It is not a solicitation or request for offers. No solicitation package is currently available. A determination not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Responses must be received NLT 4:00 PM EDST on 8/31/2016. No telephonic inquiries or mailed responses will be accepted. All responses must be emailed to eric.winger@va.gov.
