Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Service Area Office Contracting Office for the Central Region intends to negotiate and award a contract on a sole source basis to VETFED RESOURCES, INC. 2034 Eisenhower Ave STE270, Alexandria, VA 22314 for all maintenance and support services for the RTLS equipment and software as needed throughout VISN 10 facilities in Ohio that deploy the RTLS technology under authority of 41 USC 253(G)(1) Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements per FAR 6.302-1. The VA is requesting pricing for one year. A sole source justification is approved in support of this action. Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, Veteran Owned Small Business, Small Business and other Business Concerns believing they can provide these services stated above must provide written notification to the Contract Specialist with support evidence to that effect in sufficient detail to demonstrate the respondent's ability to meet the stated requirements. The resulting purchase will be a Firm-Fixed Price Agreement. The designated North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 518210 with a small business size standard of 32.5 million dollars. This synopsis is for notification purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation for bids or proposals. No Solicitation will be published. Responses to this notice, if any, must show clear and convincing evidence that competition is attainable and more advantageous to the Government. This Notice to sole-source as the result of Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements per FAR 6.302-1 is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination not to compete this proposed contract action is solely within the discretion and authority of the Government. Please submit information to Julieann.Willie@va.gov.
