- Provision Clauses 8. (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. APG-ADL-B.5152.206-4400 INTENT TO SOLICIT ONLY ONE SOURCE (FEB 2015) The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government is soliciting and negotiating with only one source under the authority of FAR Part 13.106-1(b) (1)(i) "Only one responsible source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements." The name of the company the Government intends to award a contract to is, Siemens Product Lifestyle Management Software, 5800 Granite Parkway, suite 600, Plano, TX, 75024-6612. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all proposals received prior to the closing date and time of this solicitation. (ii) The solicitation number is W911QX-16-T-0281. This acquisition is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) (iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-87. The associated NAICS code is 511210.The small business size standard is 500 employees. LMS Virtual Lab is a software tool used by various researchers in ARL-VTD. The following software license is being procured with the following specifications: 1. Two (2) LMS Virtual Lab Motion Desktop, VL-MOT.80.1-FP 2. One (1) LMS Virtual Lab Motion VL-MOT.33.2-FP 3. One (1) LMS Virtual.Lab Floating Basis Value Pack (100 tokens) universal between both VL Motion copies listed above, VL-HEV.07.2-FP 4. One (1) LMS Virtual.Lab floating supplementary value pack (101 tokens) universal between both VL Motion copies listed above, VL-HEV.07.21-FP 5. Two (2) LMS Virtual.Lab STEP Interface, VL-GEO.11.2-FP 6. One (1) LMS Virtual.Lab ParaSolids Interface VL-GEO.21.2-FA 7. One (1) LMS Virtual.Lab Systems and Controls VL-MOT.64.2-FP 8. One (1) LMS Virtual.Lab Flexible Bodies VL-MOT.72.2-FP (vii) Delivery is required by one (1) month after contract award. Delivery shall be made to Army Research Laboratory, 434 Mulberry Point, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD, 21005-5001. Acceptance shall be performed at Army Research Laboratory, 434 Mulberry Point, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD, 21005-5001 The FOB point is Destination. (viii) The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial, applies to this acquisition.
