Description

The James A. Haley Veterans Hospital (JAHVH), located at 13000 Bruce B. Downs Boulevard Tampa, FL 33612 requires a contract to provide ambulatory surgery center services to eligible beneficiaries of the JAHVH. The Offeror shall provide the facilities in which to perform ambulatory surgery including but not limited to anesthesia services; qualified operating room nurses and technicians; operating microscopes and instruments; and customary supplies required to perform operative procedures as specified within the performance work statement (PWS). The Authority for this procurement is the Department of Veterans Affairs Directive 1663 implementing provisions of Public Law 104-262, the Veterans Health Care Eligibility Reform Act of 1996, which expands VA's health care resources sharing authority in Title 38 United States Code (U.S.C.) Sections 8153 (sharing authority). The anticipated period of performance for this contract will be from August 22, 2016 through August 21, 2017 for the base year and four (4), one (1) year option periods. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 621493 with a size standard of $15.0 million.
