Description
Updated Drawings showing type of window treatments. Pages 1-9. Updated Drawings showing type of window treatments. Pages 10-26. ***PLEASE NOTE: Updated Drawings have been posted that show window locations and type of window coverings. The Department of Veteran's Affairs Medical Center (DVAMC) has requested that the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) procure and install window treatments for the new medical center in Aurora, CO. B. SCOPE: 1. Contractor shall adhere to all onsite safety requirements and all safety requirement of EM 385-1-1. 2. Contractor shall provide and install 2,273 window treatments in accordance with the attached drawings and specifications showing the type and location of each window treatment. Contractor is responsible for field verification of each window treatment sizing. Typical window widths are: 5'-2.5" for curtain wall windows and 4'-6" for punch windows. 3. Contractor shall coordinate access and site work with USACE prior to any site visit or installation scheduling. 4. Window treatments shall not be installed into curtain wall or punch window assemblies. Window treatments shall be mounted to soffit directly above windows. 5. No As-Builts are required.
