Network Contracting Office 16 is Requesting Information only for SDVOSB contractors/vendors, regarding Technical and Software Support on the MiPACS System at the Oklahoma City, OK VA Health Care System and Lawton, OK Outpatient Clinic. Please communicate via email to eric.tuck@va.gov by Sept 07, 2016, 11:00 AM CST as to your company's ability to perform service per the attached Statement of Work. IMPORTANT NOTE: This is for Requesting For Information only no award will be made off of this RFI. Technical and Software Support on the MiPACS System PURPOSE: Veterans Affairs requires a contractor to provide Technical support for the Medicor MiPACS software and provide all new versions, error corrections, and maintenance releases for the software, on an as-needed basis, for the MiPACS system at the Oklahoma VA Health Care System and Lawton Outpatient Clinic. This Contract will be a non-personal services contract. The Contractor, its employees, agents and subcontractors shall not be considered government employees for any purpose. Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, parts, equipment, tools, transportation, and supervision to provide services in accordance with this Performance Work Statement (PWS). BACKGROUND: Equipment: The VA owned Medicor MiPACS softare system is used in the Dental department at the VA Medical Center and Lawton Outpatient Clinic. The following pieces of equipment require service under this contract: Equipment DescriptionBrand & ModelOriginal Equipment Manufacturer (OEM)Serial NumberVA Location Dental PACS systemMedicor MiPACSMedicor1001Oklahoma City Dental PACS systemMedicor MiPACSMedicor1002Lawton CBOC Performance and Repairs: All work performed shall be in accordance with manufacturer's specifications, including but not limited to: adjustments, calibrating, cleaning, lubricating, testing, disassembly, checkout, replacement of parts, etc. required to keep the equipment in operating condition. Contractor must guarantee 95% up time for the equipment. Contractor shall guarantee that all equipment covered by this contract shall be in optimum working condition at the completion of each contracted Period of Performance. Contractor will make every attempt to maintain and repair equipment on-site within a reasonable time, unless local environment prohibits on-site attendance. Failing this, contractor will provide substitute equipment in the event a repair continues beyond the reasonable time frame. SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS Contractor shall provide technical support during normal business hours, Monday through Friday 7:30 AM - 5 PM CST except for federal holidays. Support shall be provided by telephone and via email and internet. The contractor will provide the VAMC all new versions, error corrections, and maintenance releases by Medicor. New versions (updates) will be shipped by the contractor to this VAMC. Services are to be performed in accordance with this PWS and to OEM standards, with the intent of ensuring the equipment operates as the original manufacturer intended, uninterrupted (95% uptime), with the latest updates, in a cost-effective, efficient manner, contributing to the VA Mission.
