- Description
- The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office (NCO 18), Albuquerque, New Mexico intends to enter into an indefinite-delivery indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract for off-site non-forensic autopsy services provided for the New Mexico VA Health Care System (NMVAHCS) located in Albuquerque, NM. The term of the contract is a base of one year with four one-year option periods. Solicitation documents are anticipated to be available September 15, 2016 or shortly thereafter and will be posted via the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website. Prospective Offerors should not expect notification of issuance of amendments other than via the FBO website and are responsible for obtaining all amendments as posted. Prior to submission of a proposal, Offerors are expected to read the solicitation documentation in its entirety to fully understand the scope of work and terms and conditions of the requirement(s). The VA anticipates issuing an open and continuous solicitation for this requirement. The solicitation will be available for download from http://www.fbo.gov. Interested Contractors will be responsible for downloading copies of the solicitation (and any subsequent amendments) from that website, and no hard copies are available. The solicitation will provide instructions to Contractors about the proposal submission process. Prospective Offerors are encouraged to register their interest in the solicitation on the FBO website so that they are notified of the issuance of the solicitation and any amendments. In accordance with FAR 52.204-7, System for Award Management, prospective Contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database under the applicable NAICS Code. Firms may obtain SAM information at https://www.sam.gov. To be eligible for award, Contractors must be registered in SAM. NAICS Code is 621111 (Offices of Physicians (except Mental Health Specialists)) with a small business size standard of $11.0 Million. The classification code is Q515 (Medical Services/Pathology).
