Description
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Office of Information Technology has a requirement for on-site ISO9001:2015 training for FAA employees. With the adoption of the 2015 revision to the ISO9001 standard, the FAA requires a two (2) day Internal Auditor Training course for up to twenty-five (25) students, that covers the differences between the ISO9001:2008 and ISO9001:2015 standards. Vendor to provide a clause by clause review of the ISO9001:2015 standard. Instruction on how to audit the standard is not required. Focus must be on providing an in depth review of what has changed from the ISO9001:2008 standard to the current ISO9001:2015 version as well as, what the FAA needs to implement in order to be complaint with the ISO9001:2015 standard. Training materials are to be provided to each student attending the class. However, a copy of the standard need not be provided to attendees. Training must be held by an Accredited Registrar organization. Training must be held on October 25th-26th, 2016 at FAA Headquarters in Washington, DC. In accordance with the FAA Acquisition Management System (AMS) Section 3.2.1.2.1, the FAA is conducting a market survey to solicit statements of interest and capabilities from large businesses, small businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses and 8(a) certified firms, capable of fulfilling this requirement. The acquisition strategy for this procurement has not been determined at this time. The results of this market survey will determine the final acquisition strategy. The FAA may decide to do a full and open competition or set aside all or part of this procurement for small businesses, disabled veteran-owned small businesses or eligible socially and economically disadvantaged businesses that are certified by the SBA for participation in the SBA's 8(a) Program. The principle North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) code anticipated for this effort is 611430, Professional and Management Development Training. This NAICS has a small business size standard $11.0 million. Interested vendors should respond with the following: 1. Business Declaration form and a copy of your SBA 8(a) certification letter or SDVOSB certification if applicable. 2. Capability Statement “ This document should identify: a) Type of services your company provides; b) Confirmation that your company is an Accredited Registrar and can conduct training during required timeframe stated above; and, c)Relevant current or previous corporate experience. Relevant experience includes instructor-led training with similar scope. Include no more than five (5) references completed within the last five years or still ongoing. Total page limitation for the capability statement is three (3) pages “ font size 10, one-inch margins, single spaced. This is not a Screening Information Request or Request for Proposal of any kind. The FAA is not seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals. The FAA will not pay for and is not liable for costs associated with the preparation and submittal of responses to this announcement. Any costs associated with the submission of a response to this request are solely at the interested vendor ™s expense. The FAA will consider all responses received.
