- The 81st Contracting Squadron is seeking information concerning the availability of contractors capable of providing the services required by a Simplified Acquisition of Base Engineering Requirements (SABER) Contract at Keesler AFB, MS. This is a SOURCES SOUGHT Notice issued for informational and planning purposes only. This is not a Request for Proposal and shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation, or ultimately award a contract. Any information provided in response to this notice is strictly voluntary. The Government will not be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this Sources Sought Notice. Information provided in response to this notice will be used to facilitate the decision making process and will not be disclosed outside the Air Force. The services required through a SABER contract fall within North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code 236220 - Commercial and Institutional Building Construction, and the applicable small business size standard is $36,500,000. Description of Services Required: Work will consist of a broad range of maintenance, repair, alteration or new construction tasks on various real property facilities. Work could include, but is not limited to: New construction of buildings and structures, alteration and repair of buildings, structures, roads, grounds, roofs, specialty construction, utilities and miscellaneous services including hazardous material waste removal (i.e. asbestos, lead based paint etc.). Contractor effort may also include design/build from concept to 100% design. In-house design capability or readily available access to design capability up to this standard is required. Specific project requirements will be identified in individual task orders. The SABER contractor will be expected to simultaneously accomplish a significant volume of task orders. Contractor Response: We request that contractors respond to this Sources Sought Notice with information in sufficient detail to support their capability to satisfy the requirements of a SABER contract at Keesler AFB. Telephone Number e. e-mail address 2) Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) Code 3) Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS) Number 4) Business Size (i.e. Small Business, Other than Small Business) 5) Socio-Economic Status (i.e. HUBZone, SDVOSB, WOSB etc.) 6) Approximate annual gross revenue 7) NAICS code primarily doing business under 8) Summarize how your company is capable and qualified to handle the type of work required. 9) Provide a listing of other contracts/projects that indicate your capability to perform the type of work required. 10) Bonding: provide your bonding capacity per contract and aggregate. 11) Describe contemplated teaming arrangements and delineation between the work that will be accomplished by the prime and the work accomplished by teaming partners. 12) Identify if you have in-house Architect and Engineering (Up to 100%) design capability or ready access to design capability, if you subcontract all Architect/ Engineering design work, if you have state certified Professional Engineers and/or registered Architects on staff, and which disciplines you have the ability to design in-house (i.e. Mechanical, Electrical, Structural, Fire Protection, etc.).
