REQUIREMENT: Carpet/Request For Information (RFI) QUANTITY: 1,000 SQ YDS LOCATION: VA MEDICAL CENTER PORTLAND, OR 97239 CONTACT: JOHN ROSKOWSKI Peter.roskowski@va.gov 360-816-2753 The VA Medical Center in Portland, Oregon, requires carpeting for its facility. Salient characteristics and required products are described below. Product equal or similar to Tandus Powerbond carpet and installation products. A requirement exists for 1,000 SQ Yards of Powerbond carpet squares, primer equal or similar to Part # C-56E, seam sealer equal or similar to Part #54) and seam cleaner (#77). The product requires features equal or similar to Powerbond Ethos cushion with RS Adhesive (peel and stick backing for installation). This feature allows for full heat extraction and moisture impermeability through the carpet. The carpet will be 100% recyclable and free of charge to recycle via local Portland carpet recyclers at the end of useful product life. It is important that the carpet acquired meet current standard finishes for a seamless aesthetic and continuity throughout the hospital.
