Description
Vendor needs to be familiar with doing business on America Samoa. This is a general SOW that is subject to change. The contractor shall furnish all supervision, labor, equipment, material, supplies and tools required to control vegetation by mowing, pruning or by spraying herbicide at locations and methods specified in these specifications. Contractor shall also furnish transportation to and from work sites for contractor personnel equipment, materials, supplies and tools. All vehicles, mowing and spray equipment or other machines that are equipped with spark plugs shall be provided with appropriate radio frequency (RF) suppression devices. Herbicide shall be applied by trained personnel who are thoroughly familiar with this type of work and pursuant to application instructions contained on the pesticide label. The herbicide to be used shall be Ortho, Round up or equal which is non-restricted, consumer available herbicide and EPA registered. Any required Pre-treatment shall be performed in accordance with the manufacturer s recommendations. Contractor is to supply all required safety equipment for application purposes. All refuse, such as fallen trees, pruned tree limbs, shrubbery, cuttings and leaves, resulting from the contractor s work, shall be removed from the site by the contractor at the end of each workday. The contractor shall be responsible for any damage to the Government buildings or property while rendering the services. At no time shall the service operations interfere with the operation of the Government facilities.
