- Description
- The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network 10 Contracting Office has a requirement for housekeeping services at the Veteran Administration Medical Center, 3200 Vine Street, Cincinnati, Ohio. Contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, and management support necessary to provide cleaning of common areas, administrative support offices, restrooms, and hallways. Solicitation number, VA250-16-Q-0640, is being issued as an RFQ. The government intends to issue a firm fixed price contract. A written solicitation will be issued on or about August 31, 2016. This is a FIRM FIXED PRICE acquisition for commercial items and is prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Parts 12 and 13. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-83. The North American Industrial Classification Standard (NAICS) code is 531720, and the small business size standard is $18 Million. This requirement is 100% set aside for Small Business. The firm must be small under relevant North American Industrial Classification Standard (NAICS) code. THE FIRM MUST be registered and be verified in the following websites: http://www.vip.vetbiz.gov, http://www.sam.gov and https://orca.bpn.gov to be eligible for award. NOTE: CONTRACTORS MUST BE REGISTERED PRIOR TO AWARD. Offerors MUST ensure your registrations in these websites are accurate, complete and have not expired. The Contracting Officer is not responsible for the information contractors register, nor is the Contracting Officer responsible for registering the contractors. A site visit is scheduled for September 6, 2016 at 2PM. Details are in the RFQ as a "SPECIAL NOTICE" after the Statement of Work. All questions must be submitted in writing no later than September 8, 2016 at the email listed below. ALL REQUESTS FOR DOCUMENTS AND/OR INFORMATION MUST BE SUBMITTED ELECTRONICALLY to the Contracting Officers, Mary Lu Gilbert at: marylu.gilbert@va.gov.
