- SOURCES SOUGHT This Sources Sought is being issued for planning purposes only and it is not a solicitation or pre-solicitation. Responses to this notice are not considered offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. THE AIR FORCE WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY COSTS INCURRED BY INTERESTED PARTIES IN RESPONDING TO THIS SOURCES SOUGHT. The 628th Contracting Squadron at Joint Base Charleston, SC is seeking contractors who are capable of providing the services according to the following paragraph: The Contractor to provide service to the existing Plymovent system (SBTA back-in Automatic release drops) at JB Charleston to include the following: Service 15 drops, 2 times per year (Feb & Aug). Inspect all moveable elements of these systems, adjust, repair or replace as needed. All work shall be performed in accordance with, and conform to the terms, standards and conditions of manufacturer's recommendations and commercial industry standards. Contract is to run on a fiscal year basis commencing 1 October 2016 through 30 September 2017. A Fixed Price type contract is contemplated. AT A MINIMUM, THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION IS REQUIRED: (a) A positive statement of your intention to bid on this contract. (b) Business Size, Duns, Cage Code, Tax ID, and Point of Contact. (c) Capability Statement All of the above information must be submitted in sufficient detail for a decision to be made on availability of interested businesses. Failure to submit all information requested may result in a contractor not being considered as an interested vendor. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 811112 with a small business size standard of $7.5 Million. It is anticipated the solicitation will be issued electronically on the Federal Business opportunities web page at http://www.fbo.gov. Paper copies will not be available. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to visit this site frequently for any updates/amendments to any and all documents. All prospective contractors must have a current and valid CAGE code and DUNS number in order to be eligible for award. Refer to the System for Award Management guide for instructions on how to obtain a CAGE code via https://www.sam.gov/sam/transcript/SAM_User_Guide_v1.9.pdf.
