Description

FAR Part 16 Justification (partially redacted) The Transportation Security Administration, Office of Acquisition, awarded HSTS05-16-F-CSL022 ("Order") as a sole source order for commercial items to LRP Publications ("Contractor"). The value of the Order is $80,275.00 and was issued under the Contractor's FEDLINK GWAC Contract LC14C7016. The circumstances permitting other than full and open competition are prescribed under FAR 16.505(b)(2)(i)(C) which states that the order must be issued on a sole source basis in the interest of economy and efficiency because it is a logical follow-on to an order already issued under a contract, and FAR 16.505(b)(2)(i)(E), which states that orders exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold, a statute expressly authorizes that the purchase can be made from a specified source.
