- Description
- W56HZV-11-D-0093 to extend the period of performance for 24 months (2 years) to support current mission requirements. This requirement is for a partial extension of PackBot IDIQ Contract No. W56HZV-11-D-0093 in support of the Robot Logistic Support Center (RLSC). The base contract CLINs and 4 part numbers on the Master Parts List (MPL) are required for 2 more years. The Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Travel CLIN 0065 is required for continual support of FMS Cases. Every FMS Case includes a requirement for the OEM to travel to the Country to conduct training classes on the robots that have been acquired under the case. To conduct the FMS training, there are 4 part numbers on the current MPL that are FMS classes and need to be extended for continual support of FMS Cases. The 4 Part Numbers (PN) are: PN 4311324 OCONUS OpNet 5 Day FMS Class, PN 4311326 CONUS OpNet 2 Day FMS Class, PN 4311327 OCONUS Maintenance 2 Day FMS Class and PN 17954 CONUS Maintenance 1 Day FMS Class. Lastly, the Repair Maintenance Action (RMA) CLIN 0035 is to be extended 2 years to support RLSC and United States Marine Corps (USMC). The RMA CLIN is utilized for the repair of 2 parts, Thermites and Stacks that RLSC cannot do the complete maintenance on, due to an enclosed internal box that contains the communication software for the robot, and only the OEM can repair that portion of these 2 parts. The RMA CLIN is also used during the first year after new robots are acquired, and are under the 1 year commercial warranty period. Approximately 10% of the time, robots are sent to the OEM for warranty work, and during the initial analysis it is determined that the damage is actually due to operator error and is not warranty work. The USMC recently acquired robots, and the RMA CLIN extension will be used for the OEM time spent for the initial analysis on the operator error systems.
