- Sole Source Justification This is special notice is being published as an intent to sole source. The solicitation number is W911YP-16-T-0059 and the Northern America Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 337215, Showcase, Partition, Shelving, and Locker Manufacturing. This Utah Army National Guard acquisition is for the following: Furnish quantity (45) Spacesaver single door- two tier TRL storage lockers for a total of (90) locker openings. Approximately 25 sq ft of gear storage per opening. The lockers shall be 30" deep x 30" wide by 96" high with a 4" base for an overall height of 100" Each door shall have a Hasp lock that allows the use of a standard military issued padlock. The doors will be double welded mesh. The Single-Piece Welded Doors will be formed from two (2) pieces of minimum 18-gauge [1.2] millimeter cold rolled steel box formed and welded together using modern GMAW techniques. One piece door with inner and outer door panels will have a combined steel thickness of no less than [.096] inches or [2.4] millimeters thick. Welded door design with inner panel optimizes structural integrity of locker door system over and above any single frame door design. Exterior door panel will be constructed with formed flanges and return flanges to add stiffness. Internal door panel will be constructed with formed flanges for added stiffness. The doors will have diamond perforated door patterns. Hinges will be 16 - gage full length hinge for increased strength and security of locker system. Hinges will be welded to door frame with spot welds not to exceed [6] inch or [152.4] millimeter separation. Door assembly will be riveted to door frame on factory pre-established hole pattern. There will also be neoprene silencers on each door. The lockers will be welded. The welded frame will consist of top, bottom, back, and sides constructed of a minimum of 18 - gauge [1.214] millimeters steel. All frame components will be joined using resistance welding. Corner gussets will be MIG and spot welded in each of the four front corners of the locker for increased stiffness and rigidity. Side panel lances will be provided evenly spaced on [3] inch or [76.2] millimeter centers. Side lances are placed on 3" centers to provide the flexibility of onsite, end-user reconfiguring/adding internal components anytime anywhere now or in the future. Includes the following for Install Qty (45) TRL 30" x 30" x 96" TRL Lockers- Unloading from truck along with a forklift too do so Un Packaging lockers from pallets then placing lockers in install location Level and install lockers Floor Anchors for attachment to concrete Debris removal- Clean-up Travel/Hotlel/per diem for Qty (4) installers Estimated Install hours- 85 man hours- Approximately 4 working days Evaluations Factors: This is intended to be a sole source procurement. This notification will close on 8 September at 9am (mountain) and will be archived 15 days following the closing date.
