Project Statement Project: Development of materials to support the implementation of recommendations in the revised VA/DoD Clinical Practice Guideline for Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) The National Center for PTSD (NCPTSD) is seeking a contractor to develop educational products to support the implementation of recommendations outlined in the revised VA/DoD Clinical Practice Guideline for PTSD. This Guideline is currently under development. In 2010, the Department of Veterans Affairs released Management of Posttraumatic Stress Disorder and Acute Stress Reaction, also known as the VA/DoD Clinical Practice Guideline for PTSD. A revision of an earlier document, the Guideline was jointly developed by the Department of Veterans Affairs and the Department of Defense to provide clinicians with up-to-date treatment recommendations. Clinicians in the field have commented that the Guideline was cumbersome and complex, making its recommendations difficult to put into practice. This is a Pre-Solicitation and offers will not be accepted from this pre-solicitation. Solicitation will be posted on September 1, 2016.
