THIS SOLICITATION IS BEING POSTED PENDING AVAILABILITY OF FUNDS: 52.232-18 -- Availability of Funds. (Apr 1984) Funds are not presently available for this contract. The Government's obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made. No legal liability on the part of the Government for any payment may arise until funds are made available to the Contracting Officer for this contract and until the Contractor receives notice of such availability, to be confirmed in writing by the Contracting Officer. (End of Clause) A Pre-Proposal Conference will be held on Friday, September 9, 2016 from 10:00am - 11:00am, EDT via teleconference. DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Project consists of maintenance dredging the following areas: Bar Cut-3, the Entrance Channel, the Turning Basin, the Destroyer basin, and the Small Boat Basin. All excavated material will be transported placed in the Jacksonville ODMDS. Work will also include turbidity and environmental species monitoring. Magnitude of construction is between $5,000,000.00 and $15,000,000.00. The request for proposal will be issued on or about 01 September 2016 and proposals will be due on or about 04 October 2016. The award of the task order will be made on the basis of Lowest Price Technical Acceptable (LPTA). The technical evaluation factors are availability of technically acceptable plant and equipment and past performance under the Group 4 DREDGING POOL.
