The FOB point shall be FOB destination: NSWC Crane. Inspection and acceptance will be at destination. Delivery terms will be addressed per delivery order. Data deliverables are in accordance with Contract Data Requirements Lists, DD 1423's. The drawing package associated with this reqWMuirement is available upon request. Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division intends to modify existing sole source contract N00164-15-D-WM75, a five year, Firm-Fixed-Price, Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contract with Mercury LLC, 201 Riverneck Road, Chelmsford, MA 01824-2820 to satisfy the repair requirements. The anticipated contract modification will increase the contract maximum to $12,602,968. This action will in accordance the statutory authority 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements". Request for proposal will not be made available through http://www.fbo.gov. The request for proposal will be provided to Mercury LLC through electronic mail. The proposed noncompetitive contract action is anticipated to be awarded under FAR part 15, contracting by negotiation. The anticipated contract action award date is 06 FEB 2017. Responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. The proposed contract action is for the repair of supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received in response to this synopsis will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
