Description

The purpose of this notice is to provide potential offerors updated information regarding the Technology, Engineering, and Aerospace Mission Support 3 (TEAMS 3) procurement strategy and to identify upcoming key milestones. The Government does not intend to acquire commercial services using Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12. The anticipated release date of the draft Request for Proposal (RFP) is on or about September 30, 2016 with an anticipated release date of the final RFP on or about November 8, 2016. A pre-solicitation conference is anticipated to take place at NASA Langley Research Center on or about October 18, 2016. The proposal due date is anticipated to be approximately forty-five (45) days after release of the final RFP. The Government anticipates a single award, hybrid three-year Cost-Plus-Award-Fee (CPAF) type contract with a two-year Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee (CPFF) option. The period of performance is anticipated to be five (5) years. All questions must be submitted in writing, via e-mail, referencing Technology, Engineering, and Aerospace Mission Support 3 (TEAMS 3) to larc-teams3@mail.nasa.gov.
