- Small Busines Sources Sought - please see attached SBSSN and SOW.The purpose of this Small Business Sources Sought Notice (SBSN) is to seek feedback from qualified small business concerns [including Small Disadvantaged Businesses (SDB), Woman-owned Small Businesses (WOSB), Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone), Small Businesses, Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (VOSB), Economically Disadvantaged Woman-Owned Small Business (EDWOSB) and Service-Disabled Veteran-owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB)]. Specifically, the Government is seeking capability statements that establishes the ability to perform the section of the Statement of Work (SOW) below: FROM SOW: "The initial year of this project will require the formulation of a stakeholder engagement process to identify key data elements to include in a comprehensive national inventory of trauma and burn centers, and the development of the inventory of facilities and their ability to manage acutely ill and injured patients (trauma capabilities and capacity, burn capabilities and capacity, critical care capabilities and capacity including for special populations such as pediatric and geriatric patients). Engagement of a broad range of key stakeholders from health professional societies, the research community, policy makers, patient advocates, EMS, and emergency management communities is required. Technical Approach -Ability to provide a solution that completely addresses the government's requirement; provided as a Statement of Work (SOW). The SOW delineates the final desired outcome and final objective, the offeror's quote shall provide the solution and plan to address and fulfill the government's requirement. The solution should include demonstration of a track record of collaborating with subject matter experts in emergency, trauma, and burn care as well as engagement with professional societies and researchers representing these domains. A history of work with policy makers, EMS, healthcare coalitions, emergency and disaster managers, hospitals administrators, and other stakeholders on related work is preferred." The Office of the Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response (ASPR) intends to provide maximum practicable opportunities in its acquisitions to all types and categories of small businesses.
