- CAPITAL MAINTENANCE OF NAVY OWNED FACILITIES AT NIROP BACCHUS, MAGNA, UT 1.0 Classification Code Z-Maintenance, repair, and alteration of real property 2.0 NAICS Code 811310 3.0 Contracting Office Address Strategic Systems Programs (SSP) 1250 10th Street, Suite 4600 Washington DC 20374 4.0 Synopsis This SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE (SSN) is issued to assist SSP in performing market research to determine industry interest and capability. No proposals are being requested or accepted with this synopsis. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT SHALL BE AWARDED FROM THIS SYNOPSIS. 5.0 Purpose In accordance with FAR Part 10, SSP is conducting market research to identify businesses capable of managing and performing capital maintenance of equipment and facilities at the Naval Industrial Reserve Ordnance Plant (NIROP) Bacchus located in Magna, Utah in support of the Trident II (D5) Missile Program. Orbital ATK Launch Systems is the contractor that has custody of the property and use of the facilities where the work will be performed. SSP is seeking capability statements which identify vendor current capabilities to perform/execute the requirements identified in Section 6. Potential sources must have a security clearance, and have demonstrated functional and technical expertise to execute the maintenance requirements with personnel who have first-hand experience in the performance of capital maintenance of equipment and facilities similar to those located at NIROP Bacchus. 6.0 Description of Requirements SSP requires contractor support to accomplish all of the various capital maintenance projects at the NIROP Bacchus facility located in Magna, Utah. The required capital maintenance projects will be performed by technical and functional subject matter experts (SMEs) in capital maintenance. Updated facility drawings must also be provided with the completion of each project. The capital maintenance will consist of the following projects: Electrical Repairs o Electrical Service Upgrades o High Bay Power o Catenary Lightning Protection o Remote Core Popping o Crane Pendant Controls Replacement o Fire Alarm Replacement o Replace Fire Alarm Control Panel o Lighting Installation o Electrical Distribution Replacements o Fire System Upgrades o Electrical Service Replacements o Lighting Replacement o X-ray Upgrades Building/Structural Repairs o Roof Replacement/Repair o Roof Replacement (membrane) o Equipment Anchoring o Sprinkler System Seismic Bracing o Hypalon Earth Cover o Replace Roll-up Door o Floor Replacement Utility Replacements o Valve Vaults and Replacement Valves o Crane Lockout Valves o Storm Drain Replacement o Evaporative Cooling System o HVAC o Fire Protection o Replace Water Supply to Fire Riser o Fire System Upgrades o Deluge System Block and Bleed Test Valves o Duct Insulation o Abandoned Pipe and Equipment with Asbestos Removal o Evaporative Cooling o Fence Replacement Resurface Roads and Parking Areas 7.0 Period of Performance The Period of Performance is estimated to be 36 months.   8.0 Place of Performance Naval Industrial Reserve Ordnance Plant (NIROP) Bacchus Magna, Utah 9.0 Capability Package Submittal Requirements Interested sources should submit a capability package in Microsoft Word (Office compatible format) or PDF format using Times New Roman 12 point font and 1" margins.
