- NOTICE OF THE INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE TO TGS-Nopec GeoPhysical Company Posted Date: August 31, 2016 Procurement Office: The Department of the Interior (DOI), Interior Business Center (IBC), 7301 West Mansfield Avenue, Lakewood, CO 80235 Response Due Date: September 6, 2016 by 11:00 AM EST NOTICE OF INTENT SYNOPSIS: Department of the Interior, Interior Business Center, Acquisition Services Directorate (AQD) intends to award a sole source Geo Information System (GIS) Data Solution contract to TGS-Nopec GeoPhysical Company for base and three (3) option years under FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures and in pursuant to FAR 6.3021-1 under the North American Industry Classification System code (NAICS) 541360. DOI/IBC/AQD will procure a single company license for GIS data from TGS-Nopec GeoPhysical Company. License is a One-Time Purchase fee for the geographic region of Oklahoma. Optional years include fixed future update fees. GIS Data *GIS data to be provided includes shapefiles of oil and gas fields for the state of Oklahoma. *Shapefiles are based on field and pool definitions which are defined by State and Federal agencies. *Shapefiles shall be delivered via FTP site provided by the vendor. This is a sole source procurement under the authority of 10 U.S.C 2304 (c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. All responsible sources that feel they should be considered qualified to provide the foregoing services may submit a response to this notice by September 6th, 2016 to brendan_wentworth@ibc.doi.gov. Information furnished shall include detailed documentation to allow the government to perform a proper evaluation. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS.
