Description

Below are the questions and answers in response to the invitation to ask questions regarding this special notice. Q1. 811 OG brief mentions support for 22 UH-1Ns, but I thought VIPSAM only supported 19 UH-1Ns? A1. The current contract is for 21 UH-1Ns. The 19 was an older contract. We plan on receiving an additional helicopter before this contract will begin, which will bring up the total to 22 aircraft. Q2. If the scope of VIPSAM has simply increased to 22 UH-1Ns, would you be willing to confirm whether the new requirement for test pilots mentioned in the 811 OG brief will be included in the upcoming VIPSAM recompete or will the test pilots be a separate procurement? A2. We intend to include FCF (Functional Check Flight) pilots in the upcoming recompete.
