- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center, Lakehurst, intends to procure four (4) Coriolis Meter Assemblies, P/N CMFS015-1700, consisting of: four (4) Peak Performance Coriolis Meters, P/N CMFS015M; four (4) Transmitters, P/N 1700R12ADAEZZZ; four(4) Cable Assemblies, P/N CMVDSZZ035, and one (1) First Meter Start Up Asst, STARTUP1. These units are necessary for acceptance testing of the Mark 4 Gas Turbine Starter (GTS) used by the F402 Turbofan Engine as the meters accurately determines the fuel flow in pounds per hour that is being used by the MK IV GTS. This procurement is in support of the United States Marine Corps AV-8B/F402 Harriers Mission Critical Inspections. This will be a sole source procurement with Micro Motion, Inc. (Cage 63985). Micro Motion is the only company currently manufacturing the equipment necessary for acceptance testing of the Mark 4 GTS used by the F402 Turbofan Engine that will meet the Fleet's requirements of a fuel flow monitoring system with a range from 20 pph to 120 pph with an uncertainty of +/- 1%. The Government does not possess the technical data that would be required for an alternate source to manufacture these units. This acquisition is being pursued under authority of 41 U.S.C 1901, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Unless stated herein, no additional information is available. Requests for the same will be disregarded. A determination by the Government not to compete this effort is solely within the discretion of the Government. GENERAL INFORMATION: There is no commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation, make an award or awards, or be responsible for any money expended by interested parties before award of a contract for the effort described above. Information provided herein is subject to change and in no way binds the Government to solicit or award a contract.
