Description
SOW Organ/Piano Service The United States Coast Guard (USCG) has a requirement for the services of an Organ/Piano Accompanist to perform during both Roman Catholic and Protestant worship services and to include special program events. Delivery Destination is: USCG TRAINING CENTER YORKTOWN Olde Yorke Chapel, Bldg. 261 1 US Coast Guard Training Center Yorktown, Virginia 23690. As stated on the attached Statement of Work (SOW). This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format prescribed in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Additionally, the Government will utilize simplified procedures in accordance with Subpart 13.5. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation HSCG41-17-Q-QWF996 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The Associated North American Industrial Classification Standard (NAICS) code for this request is 711130 with a size standard of $11M. The results of this requirement will be a firm fixed priced (FFP) contract plus two (2) Options with a Small Business Set-Aside. The resulting contract will consist of a base period and two (2) option periods; CLIN 0001 Organist/Pianist Services for Chapel - Base Year (01 Oct 2016 - 30 Sep 2017) Qty: 12Months. CLIN 1001 Organist/Pianist Services for Chapel - Option Year 1 (01 Oct 2017 - 30 Sep 2018) Qty: 12 Months. CLIN 2001 Organist/Pianist Services for Chapel - Option Year 2 (01 Oct 2018 - 30 Sep 2019) Qty: 12 Months. 52.252-1, Solicitation Provisions Incorporated by Reference (FEB 1998) This solicitation incorporates one or more solicitation provisions by reference, with the same force and effect as if they were given in full text. These rates may be adjusted only as a result of revisions to prevailing labor rates provided by the Secretary of Labor. The option provision may be exercised more than once, but the total extension of performance hereunder shall not exceed 6 months. The Contracting Officer may exercise the option by written notice to the Contractor within 30 days. 52.217-9, Option to Extend the Term of the Contract Option to Extend the Term of the Contract (Mar 2000) (a) The Government may extend the term of this contract by written notice to the Contractor within 30 days; provided that the Government gives the Contractor a preliminary written notice of its intent to extend at least 60 days before the contract expires. The preliminary notice does not commit the Government to an extension. (b) If the Government exercises this option, the extended contract shall be considered to include this option clause. (c) The total duration of this contract, including the exercise of any options under this clause, shall not exceed 5 years and 6 months. (End of Clause) This requirement will be evaluated based on price and delivery time with price being the most important factor. The deadline for quotes submission is Monday, September 12th, 2016, at 12:00 PM (EDT). Any quote received after the aforementioned date and time risks immediate rejection by the Contracting Officer. Quotes will only be accepted by email; any quote received by USCG that is not emailed will not be considered for award. All quote emails should be addressed to the attention of Mr. Juan Soto, email: Juan.A.Soto@uscg.mil. The quote shall be submitted via email in an electronic version in Word, Excel, or Adobe PDF format only, and must contain the following information: Company's name, address, and telephone number of the offeror, the solicitation number, technical description of the items being offered in sufficient detail to evaluate compliance with the requirements in the solicitation. (This may include product literature, or other documents, if necessary). Terms of any warranty, price availability and discount terms. Company tax information number and DUNS number. The file capability of USCG's servers is 10 megabytes (MBs). A quote that is of greater size shall be submitted in multiple transmissions, all of which must arrive by the quote submission deadline. By submission of its quote, the offeror is asserting that it understands the Solicitation, the Solicitation attachments, and that there are no exceptions to the Solicitations or its attachments in the quote itself. This Solicitation shall not be considered direction to proceed with the subject effort. This is not a promise of future direction to proceed. Offerors are solely responsible for all Solicitation submission costs.
