- Ammendment #1 Purpose of amendment: Remove RFQ text and replace with salient characteristics. Change bid due date to Monday, September 12th 2016 R16PS01582 - Circular Fiberglass Tanks (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) To facilitate electronic quote submissions through FedBizOpps, a request for quote (RFQ No. R16PS01582) is being issued subsequent to this combined solicitation/synopsis. (iii) This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular number 2005-87. (iv) This requirement is a total small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is: 326199 All Other Plastics Product Manufacturing. The small business size standard for NAICS Code 334517 is 750 employees. (v) Line item 0010 - Two 25 foot fiberglass tanks. The Salient Characteristics are Two identical premium grade, FDA approved, isopthalic resin, fiberglass tanks shall be constructed with a smooth gel coated interior and a textured gray exterior. Tanks shall be aquaculture grade. Tanks' interior shall be 25-28 feet in diameter and have a depth of 6 feet. Tanks shall be open top with a top lip between 1 and 3 inches. The tanks shall have a bottom drain at its center with a 90 degree elbow fitting. The tanks shall have bottoms with slopes of 3-10 inches from the outer walls to the center drain. The coupling on the center drain shall be SxT (with slip on the inside) and shall accept an 8 inch Schedule-40 polyvinyl chloride (PVC) pipe. Pool-blue interior tank color is preferred. (vi) The Bureau of Reclamation has a requirement for a contractor to supply Two 25 foot fiberglass tanks (vii) Items shall be delivered in accordance with the salient characteristics. Items shall be delivered on or before Monday, October 31, 2016. All items shall be delivered at the Bubbling Ponds Fish Hatchery, 1970 N Page Springs Rd, Cornville, AZ 86325 The following clauses and provisions are applicable to this commercial item acquisition: (viii) FAR provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial Items (ix) Determination of award will be based on the lowest-priced responsive quote from a responsible offeror.
