Description

Description: Annual and Semi-Annual Preventive Maintenance services to various types of medical microscopes. This is a Synopsis for commercial item services, incidental supplies and will be conducted in accordance with FAR Parts 13. This is a 100% Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business set aside. The Government requires preventive maintenance annual and semi-annual services in support of the Miami VA Healthcare System Biomedical Engineering Service. It is the intention of the Government to solicit a Request for Quote (RFQ) VA248-16-Q-0965 NAICS Code: 621511 (Medical Laboratories) a size standard of $20.5 million in accordance with all terms, conditions, provisions, specifications, schedules of the solicitation and award a contract on a competitive basis. The period of performance will be for a period of One (1) Base term with the option to extend service for Four (4) additional 12 (twelve) months terms effective from date of award. The contract resulting from this solicitation shall be base a Firm Fixed Price contract. In an effort to meet the green initiative, documents shall be submitted electronically via email. Emails shall not be more than five (5) megabytes in size. The electronic solicitation is announced September 2, 2016. The offeror shall be responsible for downloading all solicitation documents, amendments and other documents from the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website (www.fbo.gov) without further notice from the Department of Veterans Affairs, NCO-8 Miami. Interested firms must be registered and active in the SAM database www.sam.gov. All correspondence and questions must be submitted in writing to the following email address: gwendolyn.law@va.gov.
