- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-89. It is the contractor's responsibility to be familiar with applicable clauses and provisions. Clauses and provisions can be found at https://www.acquisition.gov/?q=/browse/far/52. The solicitation number is P16PS02356, and the solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation. The NAICS code is 561730 with an associated small business size standard of $7.5 million. This solicitation is a 100% total small business set-aside, and will result in a firm fixed price contract to a single vendor determined to be responsive and responsible. The Government will consider past performance in determining responsibility. DESCRIPTION. The National Park Service, Big Hole National Park, Wisdom, Montana (BIHO), has a requirement for landscaping design and site improvements that will include drought tolerant landscape materials such as rocks, boulders, and shrubs native to the area. The project will involve moderate ground disturbance activities such as clearing of weeds and removal of approximately 4-5 in. of dirt in a 2,500 square foot area, installation of weed barrier fabric, backfilling rock materials into the cleared area, and placement of boulders. The contractor is encouraged to use natural materials from the outlying area to be incorporated into the project design. Weed free materials will be used in the interpretive site and will be inspected by NPS personnel before installation. ATTACHMENTS TO THIS SOLICITATION.. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: The Government anticipates making an award within 3 to 5 business days from the closing date of this solicitation.
