Description
All, This is to inform you that the Building Maintenance and Operations (BMO) team is anticipating the release of the final Phase II RFP's in the very near future As you may be aware, the BMO strategic sourcing solution is up and running for Zone 1 and we are excited as we prepare to expand into Phase II. There will be two RFP's, an unrestricted and a small business set aside, posted to FedBizOpps. It is highly encouraged that you take some time to familiarize yourself with the BMO solution. The BMO Team wants to ensure that the industry base understands the BMO effort and is aware of the Phase II expansion. The below BMO Interact Page link provides important updates and additional BMO Information: https://interact.gsa.gov/group/FSSIBMO This e-mail serves as a courtesy notification and outlines the following: 1) Zones Coming Up 2) Why Should I Be Interested in BMO 3) What to Expect BMO is a comprehensive and flexible solution covering all high-demand BMO services. It is an open market, multiple-award, indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (MA-IDIQ), government-wide contract vehicle supporting the strategic sourcing initiative to reduce costs and drive efficient purchasing by federal agencies. 1) ZONES COMING UP It is proposed that the BMO Phase II will add five additional zones to the solution and the goal is to award by the end of 2016. The BMO contract vehicles will provide a streamlined process for agencies to acquire building maintenance and operations services, while at the same time reducing administrative costs. Federal agencies are being encouraged to utilize strategic sourcing contracts. 3) WHAT TO EXPECT Acquisition Timeline •· Final RFP Release Date: Soon !
